Have You Reviewed Captain Chris' Close Combat Training DVD's?
If So, What Did You Think Of It?
I have not had a chance to review "Captain" Chris Pizzo's Close Combat Training.
It does pique my interest and I do plan on reviewing it some day, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
The one thing that I can tell you is that Chris Pizzo is a phenomenal marketer and is probably the most dominant
player in the learn self defense at home arena.
His marketing of this self defense system is relentless.
Every second advertisement on Google seems to be for his course!
I did sign up for his free sampler of some of the techniques in his course, and they all appear to be straight out of the WWII Combatives playbook.
Finger dart, whip kick, chin jab and the tiger claw were some of the things covered just in the free mini-course.
When you visit his website at closecombattraining.com you have the option of purchasing the basic course for about $89.00 and and upgraded advanced course for about $197.00.
I think the course has been around for a while and I remember reading somewhere that it used to be marketed more anonymously.
The alter ego that Mr. Pizzo used to use in his marketing was "Lieutenant X", the world’s most hated martial artist!
My largest irritant stems from the marketing because once the free mini-course was over I was inundated with a constant barrage of e-mails.
These e-mails did come to a stop but it seemed like for at least a good month or two I got an e-mail at least once or twice a week.
Don't get me wrong some of the e-mails were value added and did contain some good content!
However after seeing limited time offer's over and over again, I began to lose some faith in the course. I felt as though maybe the course will just end up being all hype and leave me disappointed.
I will not pass judgment on Captain Chris and his Close Combat Training Course until I have actually viewed it and actually tried it out.
It may actually turn out to be a real gem.
It does come in at a less expensive and unique price point when it is compared to some of the other combatives type self defense DVD courses out there.
Unfortunately I will not jump to any conclusions or offer any hard and fast opinions about Close Combat Training until I have tried it out!
This may not have been the answer you were looking for but I don't believe in judging something that I have not yet earned the right to judge.
Hope this helps and check back frequently as I will eventually review Captain Chris’ Close Combat Training.
