Learn Krav Maga Techniques Online.

Which Website Offers The Best Online Learning Platform?

When it comes to learning Krav Maga techniques online there are currently two main options.

There is a website called Krav Maga Bootcamp and one called Krav Maga TV.

My favourite pick would have to be Krav Maga Bootcamp.

The reason I say this is for a number of reasons.

I prefer the quality of video at Krav Maga Bootcamp. The video is shown at multiple angles, at different speeds and with an audio commentary.

The video is shot at a closer range than at Krav Maga TV.

This lets you view and analyze the different Krav Maga techniques shown.

Krav Maga TV has much more videos available online, their website says that there are over 200 videos with more being posted weekly.

Krav Maga Bootcamp at last count only had something like 75 videos.

In my opinion 75 videos is plenty. If you set out to master just one Krav Maga technique each and every week, you would be set for almost the next year and a half.

This brings me to what I thought was the best value added feature on Krav Maga TV.

Krav Maga TV also has a link to it's blog where lesson plans are posted on a regular basis.

Access to the Krav Maga TV blog currently is open to anyone.

However as with all things that are good, I would make a prediction that Krav Maga TV will end up protecting the lesson plans with a password in order to restrict this area in the future for paying subscribers only.

This is just my forward thinking prediction and has absolutely no basis on fact, other than what my gut feeling is!

From a cost perspective Krav Maga TV has the least expensive option of paying a years subscription in advance which costs $75.00 USD which works out to $6.25 a month.

If you pay in advance for a years membership to Krav Maga Bootcamp it will cost you $179.88 USD or think of it as $14.99 a month.

Yes, Krav Maga Bootcamp is twice as expensive however I can attest to the fact that you are paying for a quality product with good explanation of the techniques shown.

If you are worried about there only being 75 videos on Krav Maga Bootcamp, trust me that is enough!

Krav Maga Bootcamp has cut down all the Krav Maga techniques to all the practical ones and have left out anything that they felt was unnescessary.

I'm going to spare you the biographies and "about us" information for both of the websites because you can see it for yourself with just a few clicks.

Here's a recap.

KravMagaBootcamp.com is my top pick!

- Great video quality - Superb instruction - Multiple camera angles - Good audio commentary - Written key training points accompany each video - Not an overwhelming amount of videos - Some great Krav Maga Fitness drills are included

KravMagaTV.com

- Lots of videos on various Krav Maga techniques - Blog which provides lesson plans - Least expensive option - Blog also provides some good fitness drills - A number of free videos for review

I have included a video from each website below so that you can view some samples right here.

The first one is from KravMagaTV.com

This next one is from KravMagaBootcamp.com

Finding a full Krav Maga technique lesson video from KravMagaBootcamp.com is near impossible to do.

So the one I have included below is more of a commercial than a video.

I would encourage you to visit www.kravmagabootcamp.com to view the free Krav Maga technique video that is available there.

You can find it by scrolling towards the bottom of the home page and it is in a red radial button smack dead center near the bottom and says "Free Video".

Areas for improvement for both Krav Maga Bootcamp and Krav Maga TV

I think that both sites could add some extra value for subscribers by providing s a structured training regime to follow for beginners.

A simple map with lesson plans and drills would be fantastic.

I know it is not rocket science and one could just follow by starting with stance, movement, striking and blocking, etc.

It would be a nice value added for clients who are just starting their Krav Maga journey.

The option of being able to download videos onto an Ipod would be nice for training away from a computer.
